Bosque Secreto exists because there's water, trees, birds, fertile soil and life all around. That's why we protect nearly 2 hectares of native forest and are restoring roughly 1 additional hectare with tropical gardens, bamboo groves and trees.
We build with bamboo, wood and sustainably produced materials, harvest rainwater, promote waste separation and reuse organic waste as compost. We also avoid single-use plastics whenever possible and encourage responsible use of water, gas and energy.
Each stay includes one fill and heating of the private outdoor heated tub, to take better care of resources. We invite every guest to respect trails, waterfalls, plants and wildlife: the forest isn't decoration — it's the reason we're here.
We work with local artisans, trades and suppliers, weaving together knowledge of construction, gardening, carpentry, cooking, wellness and land stewardship.
We believe in a more human, less industrial hospitality: a place to cook at your own pace, walk calmly, listen to the water and relate to nature with respect.
Our model seeks to create value without exhausting the place that makes it possible. By operating only two private ecohabs on more than 30,000 m² of nature, we prioritize low-volume tourism, greater privacy and less pressure on the ecosystem.
Buying local, hiring services from the area and promoting conscious use of resources lets us activate a small economy built around care.
